Big Changes! Annoucning DCI Accounting Group
Big news! As I look to the future and the growth within the company, I find that vision requires partners. We have decided to restructure the business to better focus on our offerings and to bring on the human and financial capital needed to do so. We have created the DCI Accounting Group to serve the accounting, payroll, HR, and temp CFO needs of our clients. Allison Duffy, An Accountancy Corp, will focus primarily on the income tax needs of our clients. I will still be the captain of both ships; however, I am working to bring on a well-seasoned crew to help navigate the waters—enough with the sailing metaphor, clearly, Santa Cruz is rubbing off on me!
What does this mean for you?
Since this is essentially a shift from my right hand to my left hand, you shouldn’t see too many changes or disruptions. These changes will occur through September, and we hope to be fully transitioned by October 15, 2024.
If you are on QuickBooks:
I will initiate an invitation to my new accounting email (aduffy@dciaccountinggroup.com) to be an accountant user in your QuickBooks and will remove allison@aduffycpa.com.
If you are currently billed by my firm (ADCPA) for your QuickBooks subscription, this will be transferred, and you will now receive invoices from DCI Group. All discounts will be carried over.
If you are on Gusto:
If I have primary admin access on your account, I will connect your Gusto account to the DCI Group and remove ADCPA.
If you are the primary admin, I will need access granted to me again under DCI Group.
Gusto should honor all pricing arrangements held by ADCPA during the transition.
If you are on ADP:
I am working with ADP to coordinate what this shift will look like but have been assured it should be seamless.
If you are on Bill.com:
This transfer will happen on your behalf, and current pricing arrangements will be honored.
We will also be moving away from Canopy and using a similar but more robust product called Truss. All historical documents will be migrated over as of 10/15/2024. You will receive a separate email about accessing your Truss portal.
All existing contracts for services will be honored through the term of the contract. DCI Accounting Group will send you a new contract upon the renewal of services.
Changes can be uncomfortable, but I am here to answer any questions you may have and am available to address any concerns you may have.
